It may have started when I was moving to a new home, and consequently a new school, at the age of 9. Unsure of everything, I began to write in a journal and found comfort with pen and paper. The new school turned out to be a wonderful change. I was inspired by my fun-loving, hip, 1960's Pucci wearing art teacher, Mrs. Arcovio. When she chose me to be her assistant, {which allowed daily visits to the art supplies closet...heaven!}, my Love of Paper began.
After many years in the financial field {working a much different kind of paper}, I began to ponder my 'dream job'. After traveling extensively with my corporate job, I began to feel I needed to plant roots. A stationery store in my new home town of Ridgefield seemed like an ideal place to start.
